MultiHop guide

What is MultiHop?


MultiHop is a feature that allows you to connect via two different VPN servers at once. The servers are typically located in different countries pre-selected for you. However, with Surfshark, you can manually choose both servers, making it to your liking.

Use MultiHop on Windows

 

  1. Open the Surfshark application and click on MultiHop under the search bar.


  2. Choose the location of your choice and connect. Alternatively, you can create a custom MultiHop location by clicking Create Connection.

 

Use MultiHop on macOS

 

  1. Open the Surfshark application and click MultiHop on the left sidebar above the locations list.

  2. Choose the location of your choice and connect. Alternatively, you can create a custom MultiHop location by clicking Create Connection.

Use MultiHop on Android

 

  1. Open the Surfshark application and tap on VPN at the bottom.


  2. Under the search bar, tap on MultiHop to see a list of locations.


  3. Choose the location of your choice and connect. Alternatively, you can create a custom MultiHop location by clicking Create Connection.

 

Use MultiHop on iOS

 

  1. Open the Surfshark application and tap on VPN at the bottom.


  2. Under the search bar, tap on MultiHop to see a list of locations.


  3. Choose the location of your choice and connect. Alternatively, you can create a custom MultiHop location by clicking Create Connection.

 

Use MultiHop on Linux

 

  1. Open the Surfshark application and select MultiHop next to Locations.
